FreeUFS Suite: Full UFS experience for all!
The SarasSoft UFS-3 flash box, along with its twin brothers Twister, Tornado, n-Box, and others, was widely popular in
the mid- to late 2000s for flashing and unlocking various cell phones. Its wide range of supported devices, regular updates,
and support made it an attractive solution for unofficial repair shops. Third-party service programs also sometimes supported UFS-3.
Support for these boxes continued until almost the mid-2010s.
Of course, the official software (UFS Suite, and later HWK Suite) has various protections to prevent "free" use.
Initially, activation and license data were stored in the box's memory. Later, expanding its functionality required
a hardware key module - the HWK (HardWare Key), which was installed inside the box.
However, the protection system also binds activation to a specific computer based on its signature
(based on the data on the first three logical drives). Therefore, the box can only be legally used on three computers without losing activation.
Activation requires a connection to the SarasSoft server and verification of the data in the UFS and HWK memory.
Unfortunately, service support for these devices has long since ended, and the website has long been disabled.
Only occasionally does the developer of the box named Saras (Šarūnas) enable a backup activation server, allowing the box to be linked to a computer.
Otherwise, it is impossible to use an unactivated box.
However, now, thanks to the work of Jora, Bs(/)Dd and XDX, you can forget about activation hassles and use the FreeUFS kit!
FreeUFS contains the latest versions of utilities from the HWK Suite, which comes with an emulator that disables all box checks.
A user-friendly installer allows you to install the necessary components and drivers. The HWK emulator is not yet 100% accurate,
so problems may occur (please contact us, for example at bs0dd@bs0dd.net).
List of utilities supplied in the suite (LITE and FULL suites):

The kit also includes various types of documentation for the box and its programs.
In addition, you can install the DirectCOM utility to use the box as a COM port.
